Should I fax a room request?

We are going to Disney on the 15th(only 7 more days ) and I've read alot about sending a room request fax, especially lately, that Disney is getting so many its overwhelming them and might be worse than not asking at all. Anyway, We are going for dd's 4th birthday and will also have our 16 month old ds, and I'll be about 2 months pregnant, so I'd really really like a room close to the food court/bus stop etc. Oh, and we're staying at POR, so I'm thinking building 14 or 18... I'd really appreciate suggestions, and should I send a fax or just wait till checkin?

Make sure your request are noted on your reservation. State that due to health reasons that is why you are requesting a building close to the main bldg. Then when you check in reiterate your request with the FD cm. POR faxed request filled were checkered to this is the best approach.

I would just ask nicely when you arrive. CM's are very eager to please. I am sure they will do their best to accomodate you.
