Should I even bother with the yellow luggage tags?

We'll be flying to MCO and our arrival time is 9:45pm. After 10:00, DME stops delivering luggage to resorts and IIRC, any bags with yellow tags will be held until the next morning. We'd really like to get an early start the next morning so we don't want to be without our stuff.
I'm thinking we should probably just retrieve our luggage at MCO and bring it to the DME bus with us. It's a short stay so probably 2 bags max for 4 of us.

WWYD?

I wouldn't put the yellow tags on the bags. Picking up the bags yourself means you'll have your stuff with you and will have nothing to complicate your early start the next day.
