Should I drop lunch at H&V?

I thought I had my ADRs all set up, but I just decided to add breakfast at CP the last day of our trip. Now I'm trying to decide if we should keep lunch at H&V or not. Here are our other ADRs:

5/3 - Tusker House breakfast, GF for tea
5/4 - Le Cellier for lunch
5/5 - CRT for lunch
5/6 - H&V for lunch, CM for dinner
5/7 - Kona break fats Rose & Crown for dinner
5/8 - Plaza for lunch
5/9 - Cystal Palace for breakfast

So I'm a little worried about having 4 buffets. They are mostly spread out except for Wed when we have two. I think my son is over the Little Einsteins (he said he would rather eat with Pooh,) but my daughter isn't. Is the character interaction worth it. Or should I drop it and just try to have extra fun at Playhouse Disney Live! If I drop it, where should we go?

Are you on the dining plan? I ask because The Plaza is a very inexpensive meal not really worth a TS credit. (Unless your on the deluxe plan).

My boys love the H&V character meal. Yes, there's more interaction than at other buffets, after the characters visit each table, they do a song and dance with a "host". The Host will invite the kids up to join in. My boys are too shy to join in, but LOVE to watch.

The food is nothing special. But my boys are huge Einstein fans and this is one meal that we visit EVERY trip (I'm really wishing they'd get as tired of it as we adults are!)

I do suggest (if you have little ones) on swaping one of your Epcot meals for a Garden Grille ADR. It was my boys favorite last trip. They insisted we dine there TWICE during the trip! The character interaction was some the best we've ever experienced and the food was pretty good. The restaurant rotating was also really cool. They loved the whole experience.

Crystal Palace is also a must do for us. Usually it's our last meal of our trip. The boys love the parade the characters do around the restaurant. DH thinks the food is a bit better there than at other character buffets, so everyone happy

As for too many buffets, we plan the majority of meals around the kids. We do lot of character meals. By doing the character meals, you do get to bypass all the character meet and greets in the parks, which is a huge plus for us. Depending how old your kids are, the character meals are part of my kids Disney experience. It just enhances the entire trip.

YES...drop H&V. It is one of two Disney restaurants that we will never go to again and, actually, you couldn't pay us to eat there. We gave it two tries--should have stopped after the first try!

YES drop it!! It is not that good. Go to Sci Fi or 50s PTC.

All your other ADRS sound great!

Your daughter wants to do it and it gets good reviews as a character meal. You really have only a short window when they love that stuff, don't miss it. The CMs get really high marks for support at this meal.

I would switch the ADR to breakfast instead though. Buffet lunch and dinner would be too much for us, no matter the buffets.

Most of the blah reviews for H&V are for dinner, a completely different experience than the character meals. Even dinner was fine for us.

We're not doing the dining plan this time. We'll have TIW though. I'm torn. I think that by next year they'll have outgrown this completely. She likes Little Einsteins, but we don't watch it much anymore, (it's been replaced by Wonder Pets) but she still plays with our Little Einstien toys. I'm also concerned that two buffets in a day will be a lot of food.

Wait until you are at WDW, cancel the night before and just have CS if you think it will be too much food. I would still book it as breakfast rather than lunch though. Doing that saves $ and give you more time between meals.
