Should I contact the resort to tell them this?

Why is it when an OP ask a question... the answers are all over the place (not so much in this particular thread).
The OP was asking, "Has anyone any experience with this? If so, when should I call the resort to let them know? Please advise."
The OP didn't ask our opinion about who's job it is to do what.. That is off topic. Only the OP knows what's best because the OP knows the family. Non of us are in a relationship with them. Each family is different. Whatever happens afterwards, good or bad, they will deal with it on their own.

Yes--Missytara! My vacation is like a crazy circle too!
Hopefully this 2nd half--starting tomorrow--is way more exciting!

I have had a staycation this week; tons of cleaning and contractors traipsing in and out all week - God forgive me, but in a small way I cannot wait to go back to work.

LOL. I so know that feeling!! Then there are those times when you come back from 'vacation' and see your desk, that you ask yourself "was it worth even being out the week?" :rotfl:
