Should I change our reservations??

OK...so I got the 40% discount code and of course booked for the last week in Oct. so we could enjoy the F/W Festival. Now here's my dillema Considering the free dining has "historicaly" been offered through the last week of September do you think I should change my reservations to September in hopes the offer comes up again this year? Now there are only certain weeks this 40% is offered and I will HAVE to change it by March. Also, if the free dining is offered will I get it in conjuction with the 40% off that I got? And when doies the F/Wfestival begin this year!!!! AGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! Tooooo many decisions AND I haven't even begun to think about all those ADRs!!!

I'll be incredibly surprised if Free DDP is not offered. It will probably end on September 27, and start in Late August.

So..calculate it up. Do you think your family would save money?

If FREE DDP is offered.. the 40% dates won't matter.

You can have one discount or the other but not both.

You can just cancel what you have and switch to a new reservation in the free dining period.

For all of the permutations that I've looked into, 40% codes saves you more money than free dining, even if you pay for the dining plan OOP.

I'd stick to that 40% code if I were you.

I think it will depend on how many people are going and what resort you have chosen whether or not 40% off is a better deal than free dining.

I would take a guaranteed 40% off over a possible free dining... the old "bird in the hand..." rule.

I have the same problem. Either 40% off at a deluxe (which ever is available) currently the animal kingdom, poly or boardwalk or stick with port orleans riverside and hope for the free dining. It is actually cheaper to stay at the deluxe with the 40% off but would be much cheaper to stay at orleans if the free dining is offered. Also, the deluxes could change what is available at any moment, I think I might prefer the Wilderness as I have very small kids. I don't know what to do.

If your kids are very small, stay at a deluxe near the MK-- Contemporary, Grand Floridian, Poly or the Wilndernes Lodge if you can.
a) you'll be closer to the MK in case an meltdown is imminent
b) THEIR food isn't going to cost you that much-- $10 per day per child??
