Should I change from QS to DP ?

Im so undecided on what to do ! We will only be at Disney 3 days and there are 3 of us. We are staying at Pop and have the free quick service plan. I enjoy eating at the table service restaurants but dont want to spend to much $. I have already made reservations for dinner at Biergarten and Sci Fi Diner. I would of made reservations at some different restaurants but everything is about booked up. Which thats all the reservation I plan on making unless we upgrade. We want to get the resort mugs which is included in the QS but not in the regular dining plan. If we upgrade we will have to buy the mugs for 3 people. If we dont upgrade we will be paying for 2 table service meals. What would be the best to do money wise ? I know what would be the best thing to do . Do the QS and dont make any reservations But I love going to the sit down service meals ! Any advice or figures on which would be the better deal ?

It sounds like the CS plan is best for you this trip.

With wanting the mugs and knowing that adrs are hard to come by you will probably be better off with that plan.

Since you already have 2 adrs, will that satisfy you? You are only there 3 days, so one day you will be without one.

It is up to you, run the numbers see what comes out best. That will tell you.

I thinkg the DDPs worth it, I am going for 3 nights, and all 3 nights eating at a 2 tables senting service Citricos, Narcosses, and CG for brakfast I am doing 1900 PF, KC, and ohanas so my 9 credits are used, I get the refillable mug, for me it is well worth it plus I dont have to woryry about taking extra cash for food. Oh for lunch I will use my snack credis for something. I DID THIS PLAN LAST YEAR AND THE MEALS CAME OUT TO MUCH MORE THEN THE ddp COST ME. gOOD LUCK ON WHATEVERY YOU DO AND HAVE A FUNtastic time sorry for the caps

It will cost you $22 per adult to upgrade to the DP, that's $11/night for the upgrade. You will spend more just for the Biergarten meal. If you want the buy the mugs, those probably cost less than a meal at Sci Fi, so that's a wash too.

Bottom line, upgrade, save money and enjoy the meals you want.

It's up to you. We are going for 8 days. We like the QSDP and pay OOP for 2 TS meals. Family are giving us Disney gift cards for Christmas and I just got a new Disney Visa with $50 credit that I'll use for a gift card as well.
