Should I change from Caribbean Beach without Skyliner?

We decided to stay at Caribbean Beach mostly because of the Skyliner getting us to two of the parks more quickly and easily. I just found out yesterday that the Skyliner will be shut down for one full week - the exact week we will be there next year!
I'm grumpy because I picked this resort for the Skyliner and now we don't have it!

Will the bus service here be better/more frequent than at the value resorts? Is my extra cash getting me anything in terms of transportation?
How long does it take to get to Epcot and Hollywood Studios by bus from Caribbean Beach?
Do you still go to the back entrance at Epcot where the Skyliner stop is if the bus drops you off? Or at the main gate? Will that change rope drop at Remi?
Is there another moderate resort that has better transportation with the Skyliner down?

Do you think I should I try to change our resort or should we stick with Caribbean Beach even without the Skyliner?

I haven't actually stayed at Caribbean beach so take my comment with a grain of salt, but IMO, I don't think it's worth staying there without the benefit of the Skyliner. I have heard the food options are good there, but the resort is so large that I'd rather stay at someplace smaller and/or cheaper. If you are stuck on staying in a moderate, I would personally rather stay at a moderate that offers something else, such as Port Orleans, which offers the boat to DS, or you could even look into the Dolphin or Swan, which can offer moderate pricing, but is right in the action! Have fun!

The Skyliner is the only reason I book Caribbean Beach over Coronado Springs. I like the vibe at Coronado. It's really beautiful, and the rooms were recently refurbished. Super nice. And because its only transportation option is a bus, it less expensive. I'd say it's borderline Deluxe level in my opinion, and I highly recommend it.

It would take a BIG discount for me to stay. Otherwise, I'd switch to POFQ. But if being able to rope drop the International Gateway entrance is important, I would look at Swan or Dolphin.

Pop and AoA will be affected by the Skyliner as well.

All buses drop off at the front of Epcot. Doubt it all change any rope drop procedures.

Also, I see people suggesting Swan & Dolphin. An FYI in case you aren’t aware, they don’t use Disney buses for MK, AK & Springs. They have their own that drop off at the TTC for MK. You then take the ferry or monorail to MK. Some people suggest walking to BW or Y & B & take their bus. But those are often standing room only already. And will you want to make that trek?

Ditto.

I 100% would switch. First, you're paying to be on the skyliner and it's not available. CBR is also a very large spread out resort with multiple bus stops.

No way would I pay the expenses of a skyliner resort without having the skyliner. I'd save the money and stay at another moderate or value.

Yes and again ppl. are still paying the price increase that these resorts. took when the skyliner started, so I would say NO to any skyliner resort as I'd feel pretty taken advantage of. - Unless of course Disney lowers the prices during that time.

Ditch it. The whole reason you said you chose it was because it had the Skyliner. Disney won’t be offering anything in its place besides normal Disney bus service. (And book quick- you won’t be the only one changing!)

Yep. Good news for CBR fans who don’t care about the Skyliner though.
It will be quieter there that week. Fewer visitors.
