I just wanted to report back on our dining package from Wine Country Trattoria. The meal was $69 and included either salad or soup, an entree, a dessert and a non alcoholic drink. The mains were really good but I didn’t enjoy the salad or the dessert.
The reserved viewing area was a bit ridiculous because if it’s busy you could be 5 people deep for standing room only, which is absurd for the price. We chose the later parade and managed to sit at the front of the viewing area and fortunately there were very few people so everyone could see well. However it would have been easy to find seating along the parade route without having to purchase the dining package.
The parade was well done, but short and ate up almost an hour of time (despite the parade only being about 20 minutes.) We arrived at our viewing area 15 minutes before the parade started but you can arrive much earlier, which would be a huge waste IMO.
Overall I would not recommend paying for either the dessert or dining package for the parade due to price, time commitment and lack of necessity.
