We are going in little over a week for the F&W festival and DH is thinking that with eating at Epcot all day we may not need to do TS every night. I told him we had to keep Jiko and we both agreed we have to go to V&A, but I have to admit I am a bit worried about Citrico's. Is it worth it??

I am especially nervous since I am a lacto/ovo vegetarian (DH eats meat), and their veggie dish sounds kind of generic on the current menu. Do they make other veggie meals by request? Should we just skip that ADR and enjoy the extra time in the parks that night? Or is Citrico's worth a visit?

Thanks for your help!

DH and I have been to Citricos twice. We loved it. It is on par with Jiko's, which is one of our favorite restaurants. I have severe food allergies and they have been very accomadating. I love it , but go with what you want to do.

Thanks for your comments! I wish we knew what we wanted to do hahaha! Anyway it looks like the plan is to hold onto the ADR and if that day (or the previous) if we decide not to keep it we will just call and cancel it, we are just nervous about the whole trip (especially me) since we have never done a vacation like this before. We have only ever done day trips to the parks this is a little more crazy. Especially the dinning!

We just went to Citricos and it really wasn't worth it. The food was awful! In fact it was our worse meal there at Disney. Of course what we might like, you might not or vice versa it is all a matter of personal choice. IMHO I think spending the time at the park would be more fun and a better way to go.

We love Citricos and have always had a great meal there. We've even brought my parents into our love for the restaurant. I'm counting down the days until I get to eat there again in October.

We also just returned from our first meal at Citricos. We normally must eat at Jiko every trip, but we thought we'd try something new.

Generally speaking, it was on par with Jiko. Our only real complaint was our steaks were seriously undercooked from what we'd requested. I sort of wished we'd known ahead of time how thick the cuts of beef are so we could have adjusted accordingly. My husband had to send his back (he ordered medium) and it was still raw and cold in the center even after it came back.

We do have pix that I will post in the review section. The elegance of the hotel, as well as the view from the restaurant was breathtaking. Our appetizers were stellar, and the desserts were amazing. We all took part in the suggested wine pairings and they were exquisite and perfectly matched. Our server was extremely nice, too. But, like I said, we just were a bit disappointed in how undercooked and thick their beef was -- but we're noticing this trend everywhere, even here at home and even with fish.

We were at F&W on 9/27, during the soft opening, and there's no way I'd trade an elegant, beautiful meal at Citricos for bites of overpriced food on plastic plates, standing in line after line, in the heat you're going to experience in a week. Sure, a taste here and there at a few tents/booths is one thing, but I don't think you can compare that with sitting down in the air conditioning, clean and refreshed, with a server taking care of you.

Hope you have a lovely time with whatever you decide :)
