Or just keep it at All Star Music? I REALLY wanted to stay at POFQ this trip, even staying an extra day to enjoy the resort, however, due to not getting a code, I had to take Music which was the ONLY resort available 3 days ago.:( So, would you call back untill you got something better?

sure, why not? Can't hurt to make the call and ask - I would try not to obsess over it though. Maybe call now, call after the deposits are due (is it Sept 9th) and then accept the All Stars - cause you are sure to have a great time even if you are in the All Stars.

Have you tried PO Riverside, cause i got rooms there and I heard there was quite a bit of availablity.

Also - did you see the link to check availablity online? You could do that quite easily and then just call if you found some

I'd keep on calling. You never know when something is going to pop up. Last December, I wanted three nights at the BWI, but could only get two, so I kept on trying, and after about a month, I was able to get the third night.

So keep on trying. You never know when someone will cancel, or more rooms will be thrown into the mix.

I have had MORE success by being diligent and not giving up-- you will have a good shot at getting what you want if you keep calling-- people cancel and change all the time

Keep at it!!

I would call every day, if I really wanted it. I did that with AKL, had pool view, wanted Savanah view. Had to do it one day at a time, at one time I was booked Savannah first night, pool next 3 nights-two separate reservations. The 4th night was available, but wasn't really thinking straight, so I passed on it. Next day, wanted that last night too, not available. Today, called again, ALL 3 of the other days were available. Very helpful CM merged the two ressies into one, and now I am sitting pretty.

It pays to be obsessive and diligent if you really want it, and like the others have said, it never hurts to ask... And while people out there like me are changing their minds every day, the availability of rooms changes too.

;)

Good Luck!! And the good thing now is that the phones aren't as busy, you don't have to call at 7:00:01 to get through, and you can take your time thinking it through...I would even consider calling a couple of times a day.. It doesn't hurt anything..

Keep trying ...I got 2 rooms at the POFQ Thusday for the middle of December with a email code.Good Luck:Pinkbounc

I am looking for Nov. 10-14, hope I can get it!:o Nothing available for CSR/COR/POP/Sports/POR--so I am hoping for Something!:p

The only way you know for sure you will not get it is to not call.........You never know who failed to send in their deposit or who cancelled to move up or down........

PoohBear123,

First, let me say that I can't figure out what Disney is doing with these rates--they're playing games with their loyal fans. That said, www.southwest.com has a rate for your dates at POFQ of $85/night. I hope this is good enough and that you get it! If you go to the aforementioned web address, then click on hotels towards the bottom right quadrant on the page, then enter lake buena vista in the location box, then enter your dates and party size, you will get a list of hotels on the next page--POFQ should be among those listed:D

I wanted POFQ or POR but both were not available when I first booked with my postcard code. I called a week later and got POFQ. Keep calling b/c people cancel/switch resorts constantly.

Yes.. keep trying. I have been on the phone at 7:00 for 3 days trying to get my discount for the Boardwalk. Today I called and got a really good CM. We broke the reservation in half, one for 4 days at an AP rate, the other for 3 days at a AAA rate. I plan to keep calling to try to get the other 3 days at an AP rate. I would also try to call early in the day, because the CM told me that if there are any canceled reservations through the day... they don't show up in the system until the next morning. By no means would I be on the phone at 7:00AM on hold for an hour, competing with the Cindy's Breakfast reservations... but I would try around 8:30 or 9:00Am. The CM also indicated that there may very well be more rooms opening up with the discount codes.

Also, did you try to book on the Disney website. I never knew this, but the bookings on the website are separate from Central Reservations... Meaning, the website has it's own rooms  . And they have their own discount code    . Just go to Disneyworld.com - Book you stay - go to the bottom and click Special Offer - then Tis the Season for Great Rates. Then fill in you info. The code is BAS, but you don't need to type it in anywhere. It is the same rates as the BAT code. Hope this helps, and hope you get what you need!:wave2:

Wow - Thanks for that Southwest Link Jaygatz - I only think of SW for airfare. Has anybody used this website successfully for hotel ressies? There seemed to be lots of availability at the discounted rates!

Oh my! I just checked PORFQ on southwest.com for my dates in Ocotober and it showed $.01 a night!! I wonder what would happen if I booked it.
