Should I buy these DC tickets or wait?

We are looking to go to Discovery Cove on 8/31 (non-dolphin swim). I can save about $50 for my party of 5 if I book through Tickets at Work. Should I just go ahead and book them or wait and see if there is a better discount? The Sea World AP option is out because of black out dates. I am pretty much locked into dates between 8/29 and 8/31 and I picked 8/31 because it was $20 cheaper per person.

I doubt you will see any kind of discount for the summer season (mid June to the 1st of September). DC is busy enough during the hot months and when school is out that they don't need to offer incentives to sell tickets.

I am guessing your DC admission will only get more expensive from here, not less. We purchased our late August tickets last October and our dates have already gone from $259 (the price we paid) to $319 pp (the current price for the same travel dates).

I would purchase tickets now :thumbsup2 .

Yeah I'm thinking that I wouldn't find anything better than that. $50 is better than nothing.

Agreed ::yes:: . If you have 4 people in your family, then the $50 savings per ticket almost adds up enough to cover the cost of the Ultimate photo package ($219) and more than covers the price of the smaller package (at about $170).

Well it's $50 total for 5 people but I'll take it. I called the AAA office in Kissimmee to inquire about discounts and their cost is actually higher that what is on the Discovery Cove website. Website shows $179 for non-dolphin swim, AAA cost is $188 plus tax. Figure that one out.

Our local CAA office also sells tickets at a higher price than DC direct. And they even invoice in US dollars. I have never figured out why anyone would buy them there.

So I did buy the tickets from ticketsatwork.com. I save a little bit more than $10 per person for a non-dolphin swim. Just an FYI in case anyone else is interested in this deal. All of your tickets print out with the same name on them (mine because it was my credit card). When I called Tickets at Work, they said it didn't matter, but there was no way that I was going down there and checking in Discovery Cove on a Sunday and having them give me a hard time when the customer service for Tickets at Work was probably going to be closed. So I called Discovery Cove directly and they were able to pull up my reservation, change the names and email me the correct tickets.
