Should I buy RideMax?

Is Ridemax better than the Unofficial Guide touring plans? Has anyone use the Unofficial Guide?

Thanks!
No comparison.

o The UG plans are published far in advance. On paper.

o The UG plans do not and cannot account for swings in attendance like World of Color shows, AP blockouts, Captain EO, etc. These are decided after the UG is published. For example, if you want to go on Captain EO right now, does UG even mention it? I doubt it. Disney decided to re-open Captain EO in late 2009 and just re-opened it a couple weeks ago. It is not the UG's failing, it is merely the limitations of print media. Anyone with an annual printed guide has this problem.

o The UG plans are static - you can only choose broad categories like 1 day plan, 2 day plan, plan for families, plan for teens, etc.

o RideMax downloads data from the Internet and uses the latest statistics and trends. So I am sure it already has Captain EO included with wait time data.

o RideMax lets you create a customized plan - you tell RM what you want to ride (even adding the same ride more than once if you want) and it creates an itinerary for you. Every itinerary is custom created.

o RideMax uses all the FASTPASS tricks unique to DLR including options for FP runners.

o RideMax will account for Magic Mornings and Toontown Morning Madness and how that impacts morning crowds at DL on days when they are offered.
