Should I bring my pin collection?

Are there pin meets on the ship? This is our first cruise (July 3 - 7 day Western) and I am wondering if pin trading is popular enough for me to bring my collection. Do guests get together or is it mostly CM / guest type trading?

yes u can bring the pins with u to trade guests can trade with other guest and trade with castmembers if u want

We were on the cruise in Nov 2002. Cast members around the ship had lanyards. Whenever the stores were open, you could find castmembers with lanyards. Also, around 7PM every night, the "pin guy" came out and was selling pins, as well as had a pin book with which to trade. He told us to look through it and trade whatever we wanted.

Bottom line.... BRING YOUR PINS!

I think that with this upcoming cruise will be the first time we'll look for pin trading. We have a great case with many beautiful pins (over 40). But we've never thought of trading before. I'm so proud of our collection that I think we'll definitely bring our case this time..I think we're ready to start trading!

As an avid pin trader I'd say "sure, bring your pins" but don't do like I did for the pin cruise (which was full of pin traders) --- I hauled ever trader we owned (filled a whole carry on suitcase) and traded exactly TWO times totaly on a 4 night cruise -- so take SOME pins but not a LOT of pins!!

We love Disney Pins and have bought several from Ebay in hopes that we will have lots to trade when our "ship comes in" can't wait to get some special ones from the magic
