Should I bring my own GF snacks to the park. I am sure Disney has some and is it ok to bring my own in. Do I just tell them when in line that I have my of snacks.
Thanks

You can bring any snacks you please! In fact I always do because sometimes I just want fruit and don't want to pay $3 per orange. You don't have to declare your food either. Only rules i can think of are no glass containers or bottles, no hard sided coolers.

Bringing your own snacks is definitely allowed! DH and I used to love eating cupcakes and different sweets around WDW. Since being diagnosed with food allergies and intolerances, I can't indulge in as many sweets from the different shops. I brought in some Udi's muffins and other treats to the parks to have while DH enjoyed some purchased treats. It was nice to be able to have something together instead of me staring at him as he enjoyed a brownie or cupcake.

Plus, you'll save lots of money! :)

There are GF snacks available in the parks and no need to let the CMs at the gate know that you are bringing in snacks. They will just check your bags for glass containers and other hazards. DD12 has allergies to dairy, egg, tree nuts and peanuts and is able to find some snacks, but we always bring in most of her snacks. There are a lot of GF Disers on this board, so you should get more info on the prevalence and variety of GF treats on this board. You might want to contact special diets and ask if they have a link to their most recent GF free offering list. We were able to get links for the dairy free, egg free, tree nut and peanut ones. I hope you have a great and safe time!

Thank you. all this is helpful. Plus I was a little unsure for our flight also. but I would rather have my snacks to be safe then sorry and feel ill on the trip.

We usually bring food/snacks with us,it can get really expensive. And then that way,you don't have to wait on a line.

It's definitely a good idea to bring your own GF snacks. Remember that WDW serves tasty food as opposed to healthy food, and that GF meal components are often low-fiber and lacking in vegetable matter. I would suggest snacks that make up for those deficiencies just to keep the plumbing healthy for the duration of the trip.

Thanks Think I am going to try to save and order from Garden Grocer for snacks.
