My kids are almost 8 and 9. Should i bring a stroller? We'll be there Aug 3 and 4th. We'll be doing 1 day at each park with unlimited express passes. We'll probably get to the parks around 10am each day.
Thanks in advance!!

Thanks guys! I didnt think so either but i wasnt sure if the heat would wear them out alot that they couldnt walk.

You used to be anti stroller when they were younger......what changed?

Unless there is a medical issue no way should kids of that age have a stroller.

Would they turn up at school in one?

Changed mind because we did e d up using them in disney and the kids rode in them the whole time. Plus it was easy to put our stuff in there and really dont wanna use the park lockers.

its only 2 days and you have express pass.
plus the parks are not that big and there's not much crisscrossing that needs to be done.
if they get hot and tired get a snack to cool down and rest.

I have an 8 year old and can't imagine pushing him around all day unless there was a medical condition where he couldn't physically walk. The universal parks aren't that large in my opinion and every few hours we sit down for a snack and drink break and he's fine.

As far as not using the lockers were you thinking of leaving all your bags on the stroller and then leaving them there while you went on rides? I don't believe the stroller areas are secure so that seems like a theft waiting to happen.

that to me says they are spoiled.
just my opinion though.
to each their own.
to me strollers are only a good option if you have a baby/toddler.
after about 4-5 it becomes a pain.

there aren't nearly as many stroller at Universal as at Disney. 8 and 9 year olds would get a lot of stares! The parks are not that large and are easy to navigate. There are also a lot of benches to sit at for breaks if needed.

We had a six year old there in September and she had no issues walking. You know your own kids best, though.

No strollers at that age unless they have medical issues that would neccessitate it .

We used them when the kids were 5 and 6. I loved the having storage space (sill miss it some days). And we tour HARD. It helped us go at WARP speed, and it helped when the kids were pooped at the end of the day. But that was really pushing it...ha ha. I mean I had to buy a special stroller to hold my 6 year old. (He is on the spectrum-so he really needed a place to chill). But beyond that I don't think you would need it...and I don't think the kids would really want to ride in one. That same kid (on the spectrum) had no problem walking the parks for 7 straight commando days when he was 8. I figure if he could handle it...any 8 year old could.
