We are leaving for Land/Sea vacation next sunday (apr-17) :hourglass :hyper: -- we are taking a limo/van to the airport and then getting disney transfers to the hotel (Grand Floridian) and to the ship. We are not renting a car and will be using Disney transportation the whole time. I did purchase a seat for my 11-mo old.

My question is, should I bring a car seat? I have brought one in the past on trips with flights and when we were renting a car, but I wasn't planning on bringing on this time. Any thoughts?

Sorry if this is a repeat thread :confused3

Bring the car seat for the plane--the lapbelts won't safely hold an 11month old.

Thanks for caring enough to buy a ticket for your child!!

I think you need the car seat. She is too small to sit in the plance seat safely otherwise.

I agree on bringing the car seat but check in advance with the airlines. Depending on the towncar company they may promise a seat but forget with all the pickups they have. I belaive FLA. law is under 5 yrs old or a certain Wt.
I don't think there is any type of law requiring infants/Toddlers to be in a booster or car seat so they may not let you use it. In 2003 we called and USAIR said we could not use a car seat on the plane. They said the seats were not manufactured for a car seat? I have now heard that this is probably not true and I probably just happened to get a mis informed agent.

Good luck, Have a safe trip :sunny:

You do not state which airline you are flying--but take the car seat--they will not allow your child to ue the seat without it. If you check the airline website they should have more information. I have flown 7 times with my son who is now 23 months both domestic and international and have always had a seat for him and used the car seat. If you have any questions pm me.
