Should I bother telling Disney why I am cancelling?

But they weren't equal in usage. People could pull as many as allowed by time frame, at their leisure. Now, everyone is even more equal, if possible, in terms of limitations. Everyone can only have 3, and only in one park. It's whole new level of equal.

Sure they were - FP wasn't open during EMH, so why wouldn't it be equal usage?

And your last statement is ??? FP was not linked to staying onsite, so it is still just as equal (except onsite can now book in advance, which is a perk) as FP+, now that the old FP system is phasing out.

I think staying onsite is more valuable now. AM EMH gets you into some headline attractions before the "unwashed masses" from offsite can get in the parking lots, and evening ones, if you can stay until the bitter end, will get you on those multiple rides on a single attraction. We have done Splash 5 times in a row on an evening EMH.

I have also done Splash 5 times in a row on an evening EMH. I have also seen the line at Splash at 90 minutes during an EMH. I've found the evening EMH become more and more crowded as the years tick by. The park is still packed at midnight when evening EMH goes until 1 or 2am. It's always a crap shoot.

I'm well aware that everyone could obtain a FP-, regardless of their stay. What I keep repeating, and maybe I'm not expressing correctly, is that everyone across the board now has a limitation of 3, when a year ago no one had any limit at all other than the time frames to pull them. All guests are now lesser, but equal. Had they made FP+ an on site exclusivity, with provisions for AP holders, it would be worth it to pay $4,000 to stay on site. Since that is not the direction they are heading, as everyone thought a month ago, there is no reason to stay on site for $4000 when you could stay off site for $2000, and get the same perk.

I think the PP just feels that she is getting a lesser product now. So why reward Disney with the high price for a lesser product? Why not consider at least getting the benefit of the cost savings?

It's one of the alternatives on the plate for us now that we have never considered before. For us though that "offsite" location might turn out to be Universal. Stay there, hit the parks in the AM with unlimited FOTL pricing, then pop into Disney later in the day ONLY for my 3 quick rides. I've been kicking this around all year and it still seems like a great approach. My adrenaline junkine gets her fix. We don't have to quit Disney cold turkey. But we also get to vote some of our dollars away from Disney for decreasing the value we get.

And this is exactly what Disney does not want....a loss of hotel night stays. ;)

I get the PP as well. The logic is, Well, if the experience is only going to be this now, I should spend less on it. Or maybe move my focus a bit towards other things as well as the parks.

OK, I'm confused. You were willing to spend twice as much to stay on site when the FP system gave equal opportunity to those who stayed offsite. Now that onsite guests get a 60 day advantage to schedule FP+, you are going to stay off site. I don't get it.

I am an AP with two sets of MBs. As I only do room only reservations, my FP+ scheduling "advantage" is the same whether I stay on or off site.

I will be the voice of disagreement and say don't bother. I only give Disney feedback when it's something immediate that needs to be fixed (like a dirty room or something). I believe that all customer feedback goes right in the trash so I refuse to give them any for free. They are also very argumentative in my opinion and never offer anything to compensate. Let them do their own market research. JMO.

So agree........not worth it and changes nothing.
