Should I book the Silver Plan through DU instead of Disney?

I have already booked the silver plan through Disney.

I have a 1br suite booked which I can't get a DC discount on so would I be eligible for any discounts through DU?

What would be the advantage of booking through Dreams Unlimited?

How easy is it?

Have you had positive or negative experiences?

DU offers rebates on all packages booked through them. The most you can get back is $165. You need to have your package be more than $5000, but with a suite and the silver package, I'm guessing you're WAY above that. As stated previously, in a suite, you aren't elegible for any discounts, I guess this is better than nothing!!!

Unfortunately, we have to have the suite. It just works out better for us.

I've used them before to book my Disney Cruises and have nothing but praise for them. They are a GREAT company and very responsive to their e-mails, etc. I wouldn't hesitate to book a Disney package with them, but as a DVC member I usually don't stay on cash ressies anymore. I'm hoping for our 10th anniversary we will though!!! DH and I are thinking one bedroom suite at AKL!!! So, I'll be looking forward to your trip report when you get back!!!!

Thanks for the info. You had to make me think of DVC, didn't you. We could pay off our loan with the $ we our spending on this trip. DH and kids will not stay anywhere else. There are just too many good things about AKL.

I am going to have one heck of a trip report when we get back. We're taking our digital camera and digital video camera and I am going to take lots of pictures. I'm actually thinking about making a little movie while we are on our trip and then putting the link in my trip report.

Maybe I'll give DU a try. At least I might be able to get that rebate.

We've used Dreams Unlimited many times, and we have always been very pleased! In fact, I'm using them again for me & DD's trip in October! Can't wait!!

Dreams Unlimited is great - they make all your PS's for you, and any questions you have, they can answer. All I do is e-mail my agent, and usually within an hour or so, I have the answer. And, even though I make changes in my PSs and stuff - no problem. Its all handled for you. They are so pleasant to work with!!

I have used Dreams Unlimited Travel for my last two vacations; they were wonderful to work with and my vacations were flawless. When I booked my one-bedroom suite at the AKL, Dreams was the one to do so for me. Judging from my past experience with a suite, the AKL, and Dreams Unlimited Travel, I say go for it! (hee hee)

This has all been my humble opinion, and others' opinions may vary, as it should be.
