Should I book now?

We are booking a cruise for this October. If we plan to go on an Eastern Caribbean cruise next summer, should I book it now or while I'm on the October sailing? What kind of a deal do you get if you book while on a sailing? I've heard others talk about a savings if you book while on a cruise but not sure what that actually looks like. Thanks!

You should book now and then you can get a placeholder when onboard (it will give you 10% off) and if the price with the 10% off is a better deal at that point, you can cancel and rebook with the placeholder.

This website will give you a good idea of price fluxuations from opening day until sailing. On the whole, book early. You can get a feel if waiting to get the 10% will actually cost you. It's not an exact science, but the trends are pretty accurate
