Should I book now or rebook while on our 4/3/04 cruise?

We will be taking our 1st Cruise on 4/3/04. I know this sounds crazy but I want to book again for next year already. Next year we plan on bringing a friend for my 16 yo DS and will be getting 2 rooms.
Would you book now (thru DU) for April 2005 or wait until we are on the cruise to re-book (to get stateroom credit and 10% discount) and then assign ressie to DU?

Of course wait until you are on the cruise and then transfer!!!!

I would, though, check out the prices of the date you want in 2005 before you leave for this cruise so you know if you are getting the same rate offered onboard. You would at least have something to compare to.
