Any opinions if I should book JetBlue, BUF to MCO for $99 each way for our March 2007 trip or wait for a ding?

Here is the situation. 2 Adults, a 2 year old and a baby 3 months. Obviously we are only tentatvie on the trip depending what happens with our yet to be born child.

Flew JetBlue 1 time before and loved it, usually go SWA beacuse it is a little cheaper.

SWA are not out with those dates yet.

Any thoughts...

I'd still wait for Southwest as even without DINGs you can normally get flights for $59.00 each way and with a DING even cheaper. You still have time. :thumbsup2 :sunny:

I'd go with Jet Blue because they have resort check-in for your flight home. With kids, being able to get to the airport without hauling your bags everywhere is a life saver!

It depends if it is a direct flight? I booked Air Tran for a Feb trip at $97 each way. I am sure I could have gotten cheaper fares on SW but I did not want to leave really early and have to worry obout connections in the winter. I also figure $844 US for 4 is much cheaper than what I would pay flying out of Toronto.

With young kids I like direct flights.

I checked out those rates too and none came up as direct flights. I have a five and three year old and can't imagine having connecting flights that sometimes take a whole day to complete!! So for now we are still flying out of Toronto with West Jet since we are over three hours from Buffalo. I worry enough about getting to Toronto in bad weather, let alone trying to get down to Buffalo. When the kids are older we will try it, but still only a direct flight. Lugging two kids through an airport, especially little ones, doesn't sound like much fun to me ... especially multiple times in one day ;)

Try Sun Wing they have a specials if booked before Aug 18/06. I booked on Monday for Aug 19-26/07 $293/pp Toronto to Orlando, direct flight.

I'm going with Southwest myself (I see BUF/MCO deals on DING regularly) for 2 reasons: price, and direct flights. As Fionasmommy said, with JetBlue you're able to check-in at the resort, but I don't mind giving that up in exchange for a lower price and a direct flight. I had been really excited to fly with JetBlue, but they can't compete with Southwest as far as price goes.
