Should i book it ???

We are thinking about extending our WDW 7 day trip to include a trip to USF/IOA . Now i know that me and my DD just returned a few weeks ago but my DH and the other two kids really want to go now.

We will have our own car and are considering only 4 days from 8/2 to 8/5 . We are already in the area so getting there is no issue we will be there early on the 2nd to take full advantage of the FOTL . Here is my thing we can't get into the HRH and we really don't need club as we will already have our car and can basically go get our own stuff if we wanted to . Breakfast is always something quick anyway . I can get my own doughnuts and muffins on the way to the hotel.

We would be in the RPR in a water view room for $1,500 . That includes the tickets and it is for 5 people . I was thinking is it a good deal?? I want to book it soon but we have never stayed at RPR so any input is a help. We so LOVE the HRH that it is hard to go there and not be in the HRH . I wanted to know if there is activities at the pool like the HRH if we use it and if the kids will enjoy it as much.

I asked this in the RPR hotel info but got no answer any help is great thanks I want to book soon .

Price RPH separately...Do you have AAA? For an example later part of August. RPR AAA 2 adults 2 kids should be about $170 per night, std view AAA..Water view is about $30 more than std room I believe.Add about $20 for each additional adult! Then add 12.5% tax per night.Then add price of tickets...about $84 including tax per person....Compare that price to the price you've been given..

I always find that with Universal the super saver rate is more than AAA, the bed and breakfast rate is more than AAA room rate and paying for breakfast buffet...Strange, you would think package rate is better, but it seems to never be...Always get lowest room rate then add tickets and compare to package...

there are super savers rates avail right now for your dates!! 233.00 a night (plus 12.5% tax) at the RPH. STANDARD ROOM 2 QUEEN BEDS. AAA rate is not avail for your dates.

233.00 * 3 nights = 699.00
(12.5%) room tax = 87.38

Go! RPR is a wonderful resort! Buy the tickets now. They are $81 for a 7 day visit. Book your resort seperate. We found the best deal was with a AAA discount.

Just found AAA deal through AAA for a regular room with tickets it was $1,183 for the RPR and a water view was about 40 bucks more . I am almost 100% sure we are going to book it . Now TWO trips in one year who could ask for more ???

I got an even cheaper AAA rate by calling hotel directly. Go figure, just make sure you explore all your options.

I went right to the AAA web site for my area (NYC) . They had a link for Universal Orlando. The hotel and tickets are a package deal . When you go to book it you will need to register for the AAA site . It is well worth it .

mine has a special univ hotel link and then, I called lowes to get aaa rate(with the lowes benefits) it was $180/night then today I looked and supersaver rates were $160/night yeahhhh

On the AAA website search for hotels in Orlando and just click on the Loews brand when searching. It will bring up all 3. You do not need to be a member to do this either.
