Should I be worried?

I called day by day to get ressies for a 2 bedroom sv for the 10-17 of dec 02. On the last day he said he would send out a conformation sheet with everything on it. Well it came and it said our arrival was the 10 and departure was the 11 . Should I call back and make sure they still have our reservation or just leave it and hope he just pushed the wrong button.( I wouldn't want to loose our ressies!!).

It's great to have the boards back I haven't been able to get to the boards the past two days. My husband was starting to think something was wrong because I was cleaning the house insted of sitting at the computer .

If you told them, during you first call, that this was the first day of a longer reservation, they would have asked if you wanted to wait for the confirmation at the end of your daily calling. If you didn't mention that, you will get a new reservation for each and every day you called.

Its just a minor thing, but we usually try to control costs by telling them to only make one mailing for each reservation.

If you did tell them and they still sent out daily confirmations, you should call and check and then chastize them for not controlling costs by sending out so much mail....and just think of all the trees murdered in the name of superflous mailings...

If you haven't gotten the rest of the booking, I would definitely call back and see what's in their system.

(And Rich, while you might be worried about trees, I'm very concerned about those poor footless pigs that you're creating. )

I would call. I just did a day by day for Dec 7 to 13 and told them I was adding on each time and what the last date would be. They just sent me one confirmation at the end with all the dates. It's possible they did not stop the print when they did the first night and you'll be getting a final one. One thing I always do - I confirmed my point balance after the last night to be sure they had it right. We matched - 9 points left for 2002.

When I called day by day for my ressie for Halloween for this year, I told them I was calling day by day. However, I still received a confirmation from the first call I made for one of the 2 rooms that I reserved for the same dates on that call. I did not receive anymore confirmations for either room until my ressies were complete, so I have 2 confirmations for the one room (one w/only 1 day on it and one for the complete stay) and 1 for the complete ressie for the other room. It was probably a glitch, as most likely your situation is, but if you are concerned, you can call on Monday to check on it Good luck
