Should I be upset?

I called CM this morning to request another confirmation letter be sent since my last payment just posted. She said that they are automatically sent. I told her that last time I sent a payment that I did not receive one and called and CM I talked to that time said for some reason it was not sent. So, I was just calling to request it. The CM was VERY RUDE!! She kept insisting that it is automatic and I KNEW I should have hung up and called back...I just asked if she could put in a request to make sure it was sent. She says she has done it and that we are all through...bye bye...I think she heard a gasp and I said thank you...kinda in a questioning manner...and she says again, you're taken care of...BYE BYE>>>and hangs up. :confused3

There was no...is there anything else I can help you with....no have a nice day...nothing! I'm sorry..I realize that they are probably bombarded with calls all day...but MINE was a simple call. I'm thinking about calling back. Sorry if she's having a bad day....but her job is to answer the phone and represent Disney.

What do you think?
 
Sometimes the most Magical Place on Earth has some not so nice CM's. Its always best to just hang up and call back. Dont let them ruin your day!! Your going to see the mouse and that CM will probably be working while your playing!! Enjoy your trip!
 
I did call back...it was just eating at me...I knew it would ruin the rest of my day....as I suspected...she never even made any notation to the account or had another letter sent to me. The CM I called and talked to was very pleasant and kept appologizing for the other CM and said that is not how she should have handled it and kept appologizing.

So, now I am fine! Thanks for letting me vent!

Next time...I hang up and call back...I just hate to be so rude! :rolleyes:
 
The best thing to do in this circumstance is politely, but firmly, ask to speak to a supervisor.

Things won't get better unless people complain directly to Disney.

I know we expect a lot from Disney, and a person in customer service should be polite, but don't let it ruin your day.
