so i won four advance screening passes to see Disney's The Pacifier for tonight. the screening is 30 minutes away and it doesn't start till 7:30 pm. i decided not to go because it's a school night. By the time we get home it will be well over 9:30 pm....kinda late for a 6 and 5 year old. I know we definitely want to see this movie when it comes out and it would have been nice if we could see it before it opens nationwide.

I don't understand why they have these screening so late in the evening. Especially a Disney film??? :confused3

Sometimes.. for special occasions. You just gotta splurge and let em stay up late. No one ever died from having ONE late bedtime.

just give em a nap this afternoon.. or plan an early bedtime for tommorow night.

Afterall.. im letting my kids SKIP 5 days of school to go play with a large mouse!

I aggree, it would be a sspecial occassion one that your kids won't forget. I say go for it!!!

HI!

Hey, these kinds of things don't happen all the time :cool1: Have the kids take a nap and they should be ok. I think you should go and have a great time with the kids  :Pinkbounc :cheer2:

Have Fun!

I won tickets too last week. The good news was that it was during school vacation and we didn't have to worry about staying out too late. The bad news is that we didn't get to go anyway since I had a severe chemical burn in my eyes.

Honestly, I wouldn't be too bummed if I were you. We've been to previews before and they are a madhouse! (Atleast around here they are) Even though you have tickets, they don't guarantee you will get in. You would have to be there really early b/c they give out more passes than there are seats.

We had the same problem when National Treasure came out. We had a 35-40 minute drive to a theater for a 7:30 start on a Wednesday night. We decided to go since we would be going to see it anyway and it was only that one night. My kids are a bit older and handled it well. I did complain to Disney about it and they apologized, but were at the mercy of the theaters and when they are willing to do these events.
