We went to DLP for our first time 13-16 december with 2 girls dd4 dd1 and it was just magical (brings tears to my eyes when i hear the xmas parade music)

on return it was our plan to go this year again at xmas however as a special treat for MIL 60th a family trip tp DLP has been organised for July 9-12 (should be pleased as falls on dd 5th birthday) however am GUTTED we won;t be there again at xmas, we have already booked another summer holiday so there is no way we can go again at xmas

is the summer season any good? just a bit aprehensive about missing xmas with mickey

I am sure you wont be dissapointed. You will be there for 15th Anniversary celebrations so will have new rides at The Studios, a new parade, lots more characters and hopefully some lovely summer days with longer park hours.

I have been in the Christmas season twice and do love it but I enjoy the summer as well. There is nothing better than being in Disney when the sun is shining:thumbsup2

Summer at DLRP is fantastic, however i should warn you (you'll find out sooner or later!) that the days you've booked are just before fantillusion parade and wishes are due to start (14th of july is the date i believe).

We love the Christmas season but summer the park has a buzz about it along with the nicer weather :goodvibes I'm sure you will not be disappointed. We arrive on your last day :)
