Should I be concerned about what we are wearing?

Walking around Disney all day in the heat of July with two pre-schoolers is going to be tough enough. Now I am concerned that we will be dressed appropriately for say the Norway Princess Dinner in Epcot or Cinderella's Royal table. I really don't feel like bringing extra clothes/shoes in my bag and changing mid day. What should we be wearing?

Hi Christine,

Don't worry...theme park attire is just fine for those restaurants!

You'll be fine with your shorts and tees! Some girls will have princess dresses on, but most will not, and there is not a specific dress code at either place. I wouldn't worry about it.

Last year, I dragged DD's Snow White dress to Akershus and then pulled it on over her shorts just before our dinner. We're doing CRT for breakfast this year, and she has told me more than once that she does not want to bring her costume because it's too hot and itchy...kids know best!

You could always rent a locker and store change of clothes and whatever else. Whatever makes you comfortable.

Both of those restaurants will be full of people in park-wear. IF you have girls who have princess outfits, I'd just fold them as nicely as possible in a bag and change in a restroom prior to the meal; however, I am with Tam1067--it's gonna be awfully warm then--might be uncomfortable in the dresses. Plus you have to think about toting the bag around or checking it in a locker.

Maybe a princess crown would be something to consider IF you think your girls will feel "left out" if a few others have princess-wear on. Lucky for me, it's my DGS (age 4) who ga-ga over the princesses right now :goodvibes No dress for him! And the DGD is only going to be 1 when she has her first Princess meal--and she already has a cotton pink outfit with Disney Princess embroidered on the front with a frothy skirt. Very soft and comfy feeling.

A final thought--maybe a Princess Tee should be the shirt of the day!:wizard:

Park attire is all you need. As long as you aren't wearing swimwear..you are good to go. Enjoy your special meals.
