i as you have gathered love to plan our holiday before we get there, so making the most of everything, as there any books you recommend or should i save my money for the trip and get the info from you guys.

Another recommendation for Simon's book. You will not regret it :thumbsup2

will order it later, steve, you have stayed at the cheyenne a number of times. can we book into a specific building or do we get what we are given, my 5 year old boy is a huge cowboy fan, and can't wait to stay in the hotel,. i hope its worth it and not all hyped up, any tips about the hotel would be appreciated. janex

There are also a couple of money off coupons in Simons book.We used the one in Planet hollywood & it def saved us money.

We've never tried requesting a certain building so I guess you could try - I think they allocate when you get there these days though. Can't hurt to try though.

Your son will love it - there is a Western themed play area outside which is near the bar so adults can keep an eye on them.

We've stayed in 4 different buildings each of our stays in Cheyenne and they've all been great - some are nearer the main buildings where the bar, shop and restaurant are but others are nearer the path which leads to Disney Village - it's a great hotel and we'll be booking to go there again this summer when the house move is sorted.

Another vote for Simon's book - by far the best guide to DLP I have found :thumbsup2

I vote for it too. Thanks for the link I have put it on my wish list and will buy the new version as soon as it comes out

I borrowed a copy from my local library. That may be worth a try. :thumbsup2

I also recommend Simon's book. Can't wait for the new one to come out.:goodvibes

Brit's Guide to Disneyland Resort Paris by Simon Veness

If you are going in the next few weeks

If your holiday is at least a week after March 31st 2006

The bible of everything DLRP - definitely worth a read before you go, makes you aware of so many things you may otherwise miss, plus it has suggested schedules for different lengthed stays.

Is there much difference between the 2003 version and the 2004/2005 version does anyone know? The former is availabe much cheaper I noticed.

Just an updated version - if you can, I'd suggest waiting for the 2006/2007 version (2nd link) which from what Simon said will have quite a few updates to previous editions.

Although I've the 2004/05 version I'll definitely be getting the 2006 when it becomes available. :)

There is no point waiting for us, we are going at the beginning of March and I'd want a copy before then ;)

How 'updated' is the 2004 one? Would vouchers still be present (and valid) in the 2003 version?

I have the 2003 guide in front of me and the vouchers have no expiry date so you should still be able to use them.

We took the 2004-2005 book with us for both our trips last year, I do not think it is too out-of-date, if you know what I mean. :)

i ordered mine last night, and i got it this afternoon, how is that for service, btw i ordered it though play.com and saved £2.99 with free p&p.Now can't wait to read it tonight.

It never occurred to me to check play.com as I had no idea they did books! However, I just looked though and can only see one due for release on 25/02/06 :confused3

Having lost out on a couple on ebay, I've ordered an older 2003 version on Amazon for about £4 including P&P which I think will do us just as well. ;)
