I posted another thread about this but it just occured to me that this might be an option.I know WOS is very close to POP and if we can't walk there I don't want to have to take a bus from POP to TTC or DTD to get to WOS.Actually,I have never even seen a bus for WOS so I'm not sure where we would have to go to get one,but I don't want to spend an hr trying to get a half mile! TIA :earsboy:

First of all, call the resort and ask them about Disney transportation to WOS from POP at the time of year you'll be there. Once you get their answer and details, you can decide if you want to use an external taxi service. earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

The only bus service to the Disney Sports facility is from the Disney Studios. We came across a bus stop designated for the WWOS in June when we were walking from the Studios to the Boardwalk. It is a short distance from the park entrance near the lake. There are a number of benches along this walk so just check for the sign if you want to take a bus. My only concern if you take a taxi is how would you get back? Normally there are taxis waiting outside all WDW resorts, but unless something big is taking place at WWOS I don't know how easy it would be to get a taxi going back.

You could always try to start out walking and hoping that some bus sees you and stops to give you a lift. However we have seen people out jogging on the road going up to WWOS so it is not uncommon. It is just generally frowned upon to be walking without sidewalks.

I think a taxi is your best bet. The busses to WWOS run infrequently at best. When you are ready to go back, have a CM at WWOS call a taxi for you if you don't see one there. Perhaps you will get lucky and they will get a disney van for you instead.
