It is midnight in Chicago and we are leaving for Disney World in approximately 30 hours!

Here's a little background on us...

Lori - I'm 25 and am the "responsible" one. But I still love to have fun. I had only been to WDW one time before I met Adam. I was nine years old and there were only 2 parks: MK and Epcot. To make it worse, Splash Mt. AND Space Mt. were both closed for refurbishment at the time, so I wasn't too enthused with WDW. Then I met Adam.

Adam - My fiance, 25 years old also. Has never grown up. He is OBSESSED with Disney World. I think it's his one "good" childhood memory. His family went pretty well every year and were founding DVC members. He coerced me into taking a trip to WDW when we were dating and I loved it. We went back last year and this is our 3rd trip together.

Our trip last October was AMAZING! We stayed at OKW for 6 days. We did MNSSHP for the first time that trip too. Everything just fell into place that trip. Never waited for anything. CMs were extremely friendly. We are hoping that this year's trip is just as great. Here are some pics from last year:

So, on to THIS year's trip! We are staying at Boardwalk Villas from October 1st to October 8th. Our plane flies out of O'Hare at 6:30am and we will arrive in Orlando at 10am. During our stay we will attend MNSSHP on October 2nd. I'm dressing as a go-go dancer. Look for a blonde in orange with white go-go boots ;) Adam will be decked out in black chef's gear. If you see us, please say hi!

We also will be doing Lunch with an Imagineer and F&W festival. It will be a lot of fun. Adam wishes he could be an imagineer and he plans on talking their ears off at the lunch.

We're going to be on the Deluxe Dining Plan. Here are the ADR's for our trip:
October 1
Yak and Yeti - lunch
Jiko - dinner
October 2
Boma - breakfast
Liberty Tree Tavern - dinner
October 3
Spoodles - breakfast
Coral Reef - lunch
Teppan Edo - dinner
October 4
The Wave - lunch
Citricos - dinner
October 5
Chef's de France - lunch
Flying Fish - dinner
October 6
Hollywood Brown Derby - Lunch with an Imagineer
'Ohana - dinnner
October 7
Captain's Grille - breakfast
California Grill - dinner
October 8
Since this is our last day, we'll probably spend it at DTD and hit up Earl of Sandwich or Wolfgang Puck Express for lunch

We've tried some of these before, but some are new for us. We plan on taking lots of pictures and doing a detailed dining review.

It's going to be a tough 30 hours before we leave...I hope it goes by quick. I'm going to bed soon and I work tomorrow so that should take up a good part of the day. But I know we will both have a hard time getting to sleep tomorrow night. We have to be up at 4am and then catch a cab to the airport.

Hope to see some of you guys there. We'll have a lime green Mickey on our tan and pink messenger bag! :goodvibes
