Short Trip?

Anyone have some good tips for a short trip? I'm thinking about an anniversary surprise for BF and I, and maybe making it a three night, four day event. We'd be going in Sept. as the rates are great and we don't have kids. (Anyone know current AAA prices in Value and Mod?)

What tickets should I buy? Four or three days hoppers? Is this enough time to enjoy ourselves and see all four parks?

Any tips would be helpful!!

We're going in August for 3 nights (3 days, arrival day we will be at the hotel by 11 am; but 4th day is travel day and we leave at 10:30 AM) and staying at Pop for $74 a night (AP rate for moderate season). Sept goes into value season and rates vary depending on what resort you stay at. Check www.wdwig.com for a breakdown of ticket prices and resort rates or www.mousesavers.com for special deals. AAA is usually around 15% I think.

No, you can not see and do it all in 3 days, or even 4 days. But it is enough to hit your highlights, visit each park at least once, and have a good time.

When we were there 2 weeks ago (stayed at AKL for 5 nights and 6 full days), we just sort of skipped most of Tomorrowland...actually all of Tomorrowland except the TTA and much of Fantasyland and Main St. When we go back in August, we'll probably hit what we missed this past time. We also skipped a lot of the shows in the World Showcase so we plan to have a WS day. Will probably only hit the safari and dino ride in AK and the highlights at MGM.

This was really just a "I miss it and feel like going back asap" trip. Our next big one won't be till next year sometime but really, there's never enough time to do it all! That's how Mickey addicts us and keeps us going back!

For September, for the moderates, the AAA rate I saw was $107 standard view, $119 water view. Hope that helps.

Yeah, I was kinda thinking we would have to hop and skip about to see what we'd like. But then again, with the free dining, the prices are better than cruising!

Besides, even just a few nights away from home, in the happiest place on earth will relax and revive us both!!
