Short trip to HHI....drive or fly?

It was so bad the day it happened and that nite. I did not sleep at all. DH and kids kept saying forget about it, I just kept going over it in my mind like it was my fault. For lack of a better word I felt so victimized. I can't imagine what you feel like if someone breaks into your home. We did have a great trip after all. Really once we got there I mostly forgot, once in a while it would creep back. I am now very careful wherever I go with my purse. Things seemed better when I looked out from our balcony and saw four giraffes sleeping outside our door. It was great. Sometimes bad things happen to good people. DH kept saying I'll be getting a bonus in a few weeks at work and that will make up for the money lost. What a guy.

the spots seem to be lined for compact cars yet most people travel in big suvs. picked up a couple of dings this last trip.

Uh Oh. On second thought, maybe I'll convince him to drive the Focus. Although I don't want my car damaged, it won't be nearly as painful as dealing with DH if anything happens to his car.

Road Trip. I would say Driving would be the best way to get to HH.

we have parked our mercury mountaineer or our lincoln navigator under the lodge, along the marina side by the 15/16 bldgs and never incurred a problem; have also parked under the beach club and in that surface lot without incident. drive what makes you happy and comfortable!

We were in a villa over by the pool area and those spots I will second are WAAAAAAYYYY to small!! Now when we've been in a villa in the mail lodge those spots seem to be fine and also under the beach house we never have a problem. But the other spots are way tooooo tight and everybody seems to have either a mini-van or SUV and you can hardly get out the door.

Your 1 BR will either be in the lodge (Buildings 11 or 12) or under a GV (Buildings 16, 18, 19, 28, or 30).




To the OP, I would recommend driving. We just got back from a 4-night stay and drove 9 1/2 hours. I know you are farther away, but I would still drive. From now on though, we are doing 5-night stays.
