Hello all. My husband and i are planning a surprise quick trip the week of Thanksgiving for our kids. We are planning 11/21 to 11/24. Any tips about what type of weather to expect. Our big trip will be in june for a week. So this will be quick but fun. Any and all tips are appreciated.

It will be very crowded, so plan well.

As to weather, you're going to have to wait until it gets close to time. You'll probably have warm weather (80s), but there's always a chance an early cold front will come through or a late hurricane.

Thanksgiving is our favorite time to go! We'll be there again this year! One year it had gotten down to freezing the night before we showed up. It was cool on our arrival day but then it quickly warmed up for the rest of our vacation. Be prepared for high 70's/ low 80's most days. But be ready for cold just in case!!!
We usually start our day in shorts, t-shirt, long sleeve shirt and a hoodie. The hoodie is off and wrapped around our waist by 10am. The long sleeve shirt usually ends up in the backpack for most of the afternoon but it comes back out when the sun goes down. And the hoodie comes out later in the evening. We always pack (per person) a cheap pair of gloves, a thick undershirt (my boys like the nike and under armour brands), a pair of jeans and a warm hat. In 2014 we needed the hats and gloves for a couple of nighttime shows.
Check the weather a day or two before you go and throw in an extra pair of jeans if it looks like it will unusually cold!

We go every year at this time. It's usually chilly to perfect in the evening and perfect to hot in the day. Rain of course is hit or miss. If it's a cooler week there's not much rain if any. If it's a warmer week we would see a shower or two.

I always keep an eye on the weather up until we leave. It's a nice time to go weather wise.

Thank you for the tips. I will remember when it comes time to pack. Another question. I figured the parks would be busy but will the parks already be decorated for Christmas or would they still have the Fall feel? This is why we are going at this time to see the decorations. We have always only visited in June but we really are excited about seeing all the décor.
