Short Trip Report: WoC from GCH and Pixar Play Parade from WCT

Just thought I'd share a few pics from my trip last weekend for the half marathon. We were there Sept. 4th through the 6th.

We left late Friday night and as we were getting close to DL this is what we saw out the car windows:

We were staying at the GCH. I've seen WoC twice already but wondered what it looked like from the Paradise View Terrace. After asking a front desk CM how do get there, we were on our way.

SO pretty!

They have heaters hanging from the ceiling which was nice because it got cold!

I actually really like WoC from up here. There were only three other people standing up there. You could see all the patterns of the fountains. I wouldn't suggest it for the first viewing though; you really can't see any of the video segments on the water screen.

Last but not least, we had a special sprinkling of pixie dust on Saturday. I really love the Pixar Play Parade, and I am not a parade person. Unfortunately, my family does NOT enjoy waiting around for a parade, so we hardly ever get to see it

We had reservations at Wine Country Trattoria for 5:00 pm in order to get some carbs for the race on Sunday, and eat early enough to go to bed early so we weren't TOO exhausted for our 3:30 am wake up call

We were seated right away on the outer edge looking toward the bread factory. Well what do you know, 15 minutes later, this comes along:

(Am I the only one who doesn't like that this EVIL, EVIL bear is in the parade?)

Well, that's all I got! Shortly after this my camera died We had an awesome time though!

First off, how cool is it that you got to see the fireworks from the car? I have always wanted to do that. Second, you really can't beat a Disney parade.

I don't like the evil bear either. It would be like having Cid the mean boy from TS1 in the parade
