Just wondering if any of you have ever gone in March and what the weather and the crows were like at that time..found good airfare for 17th-22 wondering if too late for ressies.is it a busy time for DVC? PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU ALL THINK.TIA Marianne :earsgirl: :wave:Been trying since last nite..can't get the cheap airfare..tried jan feb & march...so disappointed..:(

In January of 2001, I was able to book a studio at OKW for March 2001. Hopefully you could get something now for that time.

thanks agian but how was March...weather wise & crowd wise?..Marianne

I personally have never been at that time but that is spring break time. I would imagine the parks will be busy.

We went last March the same time. We were unable to get DVC ressies so we stayed at POR with points (a waste of points in my opinion). We had to go at that time because my DD was in a cheerelading competition at Universal Studios.

We hit alot of rain that week and there were lots of complaints that it was COLD. It was for Florida weather but we had a few days in the low 80's. It got down to the 40's at night but being from Boston we didn't think it was all that bad.

Yes, the parks were crowded but we still had fun, fun, fun!!

Good luck.

We've gone in March in 99 and 01 and plan to go March 02. The weather varied. The first time it was warm but last year we didn't do the pool at all. My DH said we cured the FL drought when we brought the rain with us. The crowds were manageable. We had a great time. The way the weather has been predictable it is hard to say. Bring a poncho and the determination to have a good time.

We were at WDW the first of week of March 2001 for a short trip and a Brave spring training game. The weather was sunny, but cool and windy. We needed jackets. Too chilly for us for the pool.

We go in March every year. We always stay at our home resort OKW and make the ressie far in advance. Our DSs' school gives a 2 wk. vacation in March, usually encompassing St.Pat.'s. We love March in Disney. It is alittle crowded, mainly because of spring break, but we plan around it. The weather is not too hot. We have had some rain, at least one bad rainy day per 7 day trip. But even so-so weather in WDW is better than winter in NJ. We also have gotten into spring training games - last yr. Yankees in Legends Field. This yr., I think we'll try a Braves game.

Those are the exact dates when we are going - we snagged a $109 RT airfare last week.
