A fun trip in a few words....
We used Maigcal Express. Since we stayed at SSR we were first ones to be dropped off and last ones to be picked up.

We waited for shuttle busses no longer than 20 minutes. No more than two "extra" stops outside of SSR for any of our destinations. Absolutley painless..even on Saturday and Sunday.

The parks were comfortable. The longest wait time was out of all of the parks we visited was 50 minutes and that was for Space Mountain...go figure...even Everest was only 30 minutes.

SSR does need a sit down resturant, hopefully the Turf Club will fill that need once it re-opens. Throughout the entire trip we encountered two "surley" employees. One @ McDonalds in DD and the other @ Casey's Hot Dogs at the Magic Kingdom.

A great time...I can't wait to go back in December!!!

Sounds like you had a great trip! I love SSR, I'm glad you enjoyed your stay there. Welcome Home!

Is it possible to walk from SSR to Downtown Disney?

Thanks for posting.

Yes! It takes about 15 minutes around the lake. Sometimes it was quicker than the bus (by 5 minutes)...but you don't feel as guilty when you stop for a snack. :woohoo:

YUM......I could walk and justify the hot fudge sundaes.........thanks so much for your report.......

Saratoga is a beautiful resort, but it is huge! It's a pleasant walk from downtown Disney to SSR, but depending on where you are staying, it could be a lot longer than 15 minutes.

Thanks for posting.

Sounds as though you had a fantastic time.
