Short Road Trip: Philadelphia's Ballpark

I'm on vacation this week so I took the opportunity to make a small road trip. Went to my sisters in northern New Jersey (about a 4 1/2 hour drive), then the next day drove 2 hours to Philadelphia. Unfortunately it rain just about ALL DAY LONG so I wasn't able to get a lot of photos. I took a city tour which was real nice, but with the rain falling I couldn't really do as much as I would have liked.

Also on my "List of things do to" is to see every MLB ballpark in the US. I'm now up to 8 as I got a chance to go to Citizens Bank Park to see a Phillies game. WOW what a ballpark. So far of the 8 I've visited it is my favorite (though Fenway will really always be #1 in my book). The 8 I've been to are: Fenway Park - Boston; Yankee Stadium - New York; Shea Stadium - New York; Rogers Center - Toronto; Camden Yards - Baltimore; Turner Field - Atlanta; Comerica Park - Detroit; and Citizens Bank Park - Philadelphia.

The rain stopped 2 hours or so prior to game time. This is what mother nature gave us as a reward for putting up with the rain all day:

That is one park I have never been to. I love the shot down the first base line. I'm hitting the Sox-Yankees game tomorrow night and I'm hoping for some decent shots from the bleachers.

Wow nice shots! Never been. A Phillies game is on my to do list. Looks like it was a fun day.
