Short points for booking...

Got a quick question....I just got off with MS and I forgot to ask him this question. I hope you folks can help me, cause I am so impatient to know the answer by the time I call back again in the am. I just purchased the additional 24 points to complete a stay for a Savannah Studio. I just inquired about a larger unit and he told me I was still ** points short. Would I be able to transfer in ** points from another member (same UY) even though I just purchased the 24 from MS. I hope this is clear.

I don't think one has anything to do with the other.

But I also think you will have a tough time finding a member willing to use up their one transfer per year for ** points transfer to your account, unless you know someone already who's willing to do that for you.

Unfortunately you can't purchase anymore points from MS because that is a ONE time deal per year. I also doubt that someone will transfer a few points to you either. Good luck though.

Have you thought of borrowing points from next years points?

I had a very very kind member transfer me 8 points for my vacation. I then had to change my week and that resort wasn't available so I had to purchase another 10 points from MS....so it can be done.

THANKS all for your replies! Actually I had a wonderful member PM me and did transfer a couple of points they had left over....which would of went unused for them! DISSERS are really the BEST!!! THANKS

Definately post on the rent/trade board I've had a member transfer 8 points to me in the past. I believe I paid them $10 per point which is a much better deal than buying the additional from MS.

THANK Liz!!! Dissers are the BEST! I would definitely do the same! Instead of a couple of points go 'wasted' in your acct when someone can benefit from a small transfer, I would do it too!! We planned a 'whim' of a vacation for Labor Day week! We'll be starting out at AKV (Sav.) and ending at BCV at Stormalong....can't come soon enough! The kids are so happy! Hope you have a great summer, too!!
