We are back from our seeing new best buddy, "Jackie D'.,, at his place"...I gotta say that if ol Jack was alive today, he would be 165 years old, but he'd fit right in with the rest of the Fort fiends,

I just wanna say to Vickie and Leonard, it was a pleasure to get to meet ya's after all this time. (you give good hugs)You tend to be a little quite,,(unlike me).
And Cathy and Bob,,really good to hang with you again,

Looking forward to gett'n to Guntersville again with everyone, (cept Cheryl and Jeff, who'd rather go to WDW than Guntersville),,(can't imagine why)
KIDDING !! We love you guys.

As I drove into work early this morning
My Fellow Fiends were gathering in Lynchburg without warning
The Master Distiller is in for a surprise!
As Fort Fiends begin swarming like flies
They’ll sniff, whiff and snort that fermenting glop
Unfortunately, they won’t be able to drink a drop
But they’ll laugh and have a good time anyway
As I’m stuck here on this gorgeous Friday
So here I sit on a conference call
When I’d rather be in Lynchburg with Y’all
My job kinda sux, but it pays the bills
Although I miss seeing those warehouses perched on Tennessee hills
So have fun, Fiends, and enjoy the day
While I sit chained to my desk, unable to play

I must say that Kathy and I had a good time today!
It was great to meet new friends/fiends Vickie and Leonard along with Mark, Leslie, and Emily.

Frank, Denise, Jeff and Cheryl were just as I remembered them, nice and just a little nutty.

I think if the tour guide didn't move us along that Jeff woulda stayed in the carcoal drip area sniffing under the lid for a whileI must say it was a delight for the senses.

It was great to get together with such great people on a great day at a great place.
