Has anyone ever used the company ShoreTrips to book shore excursions? Any problems/kudos? I am particularily interested if anyone has used them to book the dolphin swim in Nassau! Any info would be appreciated.

Help!! PLEASE!!!
I really want to book the dolphin swim instead of the dolphin encounter offer through DCL. I know you can book directly with the Dolphins Swim company, but was worried that since we are cruising during Hurricane season the ship may not be able to dock and we might be out the money since Dolphins Swim does not refund money unles THEY determine that to proceed would be unsafe.
I have been to Shore Trips website and they say they will refund your money if your ship has been unable to dock as long as you let them know in letter within 15 after the scheduled excursion. This sounds really good to me however I am leary of things that sound to good to be true, especially if I have never heard about the company before.
Can someone please help me?

Dave of the DCL website had posted the Shoretrips site, so keep bumping till he returns. When are you cruising? I have booked the Shoretrips private snorkel for St Thomas on our October 5 Magic cruise. We have not cruised yet, but stay in touch and I'll give you feedback. I have been working with Jean Brylow at Shoretrips and she has been wonderful, answering many questions. So far my experience has been GREAT.

abitjaded thought you might be able to add some insight into a company called ShoreTrips to book excursions through. If so, I would love to hear you thoughts /experiences with them.

I can't recall any specific examples of DISers that have used shoretrips.com, but I would recommend them anyway. I have previously corresponded with them regarding their cancellation policy if the ship is unable to make its scheduled port of call. Their response was prompt and profesional... if your ship is unable to make its port of call, you can notify them via fax or email and they will refund the cost of your excursion.

I have good feelings about this company. I hope somebody will give them a try.
