First time cruiser here...I've been reading some threads about booking cabanas and something about emailing at 125 days out? Since I'm a first time cruiser will I be able to do that? If not, what are the steps I need to take to try and get a family cabana? Sorry for the ignorance....we aren't cruising till Nov 2016, but I've already got me a spiral for notes

If you have booked a Concierge level room, then the Concierge people should be contacting you around 130 days out from your cruise. They will talk to you about what sorts of services they can do for you. And you email them at 125 days out with your "wish list". This would include such things as Cabana reservations. They won't actually be booked until 120 days out (when such reservations are available), but Concierge gets priority.

If you are not booked in a Concierge room, your excursion booking window (when you can book a cabana) opens at 75 days out from the cruise. One note, most cabanas get snatched up at that 120 day window (or the subsequent Gold Castaway Club level window at 105 days out). But, if you are in that situation, just keep checking (daily works best), sometimes a cabana will open up.

thanks! Concierge wasn't in our budget, but I'm hopeful we will still get to do fun stuff. We sail the day after Thanksgiving 2016

I'd also suggest looking to possibly share a cabana. You will have a fabulous cruise regardless if you get a cabana

Hello . Sorry shoreside concierge is only for people who have booked a concierge room and not a service available for other staterooms.

They cannot help you as a first time cruiser if you didn't book a concierge room.
