Shore excursions

Not sure if I h ave this in the right thread/Forum ... We are considering a cruise in april 2017 instead of our reg disney trip - it will not be a Disney cruise ... most likely carnival Vista ... Although I am not sure if the question I have really matters with the cruise line

we will have a 5 year old and a 8 year old ... what kind of excursions would be suitable for them? Specific ports for this itinerary would be:

Grand Turk, turks & caicos
La Romona, Dominican Republic
Curaco, Netherlands Antilles
Orangestead, Aruba

We are okay with a simple beach day for a few of them but would like 2 where we would do something really fun such as mild ziplining, or ATV riding, etc. However from what I can see my kids will be too young. Is there anything else that is really fun? I feel like tour buses would be boring for them.

Advice? Thoughts? Or should we scrap this idea and head back to the world again! LOL

Probably better idea to go to a forum that actually sails to those ports.

I'd suggest doing a google search for "cruise ports forums". You'll find ones that deal with ports that DCL doesn't go to.
