shore excursions

i have a question about the excursions. say you all do an early excursion that is finished by noon and have nothing else planned for the afternoon. are there launches back to the ship through-out the day or just at the end of the time on the island? thanks!

I assume you are talking about Grand Cayman since it is the only port in which tenders are used. To that the answer is, the tenders are constantly on the go back and forth between the ship and the dock. We waited about 10 minutes after getting on before we took off to the ship.

actually, we are doing the eastern cruise. sorry i should have included that.

We're on the Eastern in 6.5wks!! Been counting down since 48wks so we're getting there -lol
On St Marten we are signed up for a morning excursion. At lunch time we'll have lunch onboard then either DH or DH & I will go shopping/gambling while DS goes to the Lab.
On St Thomas we're planning on spending the day at Coral World/Coki Beach/Paradise Tramway.
On Castaway Cay we may spend the morning with DS then have him go to the Lab while we checkout the adult only area.

On the eastern there are no ports were tendering is necessary. You walk right off the ship onto the dock. You can come and go as you please
