Shops open when

OK, I seem to have fogotten how soon the stores on board open up. Can anyone tell me.

We are cruising on 9/1 3 day Wonder and I wanted to buy tee shirts for the kids and leave them to have them signed. Would I have enough time to buy the shirts and leave them to have the characters sign the shirts on a 3 day cruise?

Shops open soon after you leave from port and are open on sea days....not open while the ship is in port.

Yeah I know they are not open at port. I know they open after you leave but I also know they have to be a certain distance from the port when they opne, but I am not certain (I can not remember) how soon they do open. Thanks anyway.

Does anyone know what time the stores opened on the first night?

I believe the shops open at like 6:30 or 7:00 after you leave port.

I was hoping for around that time. Now lets hope we do leave port on time and I will be set to get shirts and leave them to be signed.

Do they deliver them to your stateroom?

From what I remember the merchandise shops (Mickey's Mates, Treasure Ketch) usually opened at about 6:00 PM. Shutters usually opened at about 4:00 or 5:00 PM.

Do they deliver them to your stateroom?

Since the signing is not an "official" event on DCL I would not make it any harder on the staff and would pick up the shirt at guest service on the last day, or when they tell you to come back. It all started just by word of mouth on these boards...

They may deliver to the stateroom but you would have to ask....I think it nice that DCL is doing this again and I hope they don't take it away again.
