Do the shops at the MCO Airport sale the 12 or 24 pack water bottles & possibly Red Bulls? We are staying at the Hyatt MCO prior to our cruise & I was hoping we would not need to get a taxi to take us to a grocery store for bottled water or Red Bulls & just purchase them at one of the stores in the airport.

Is this your first cruise?you don't need bottle water on the cruise. My guess will be no on the packs of water at the mco shops. Just a guess

Yes, it is our first cruise. We drink a LOT of water, I don't want to have to keep going to get a refill or paying for bottled water.
I guess we will have to check out some of them & if not, pay for a taxi to the nearest grocery store, or use our Uber app.

Nope. You'll pay out the nose for individual cans/bottles. Like the pp said, you won't need water. Bring a water bottle. Maybe you can ship Red Bull to the hotel via Amazon Pantry if you're a Prime member.

Enjoy your cruise. have your stateroom host fill up your ice bucket than you will have very cold good water. He can fill it up once a day for you or twice a day. I like it done once a day. Seriously you don't need to bring water on board. I figured it was your first cruise since you asked about water. Usually only people on their first cruise brings on water.

Good to know !!! How does the tap water that is available in the beverage areas taste? I assume you can get non-bottled water at sit down dinners as well? Does it takes okay?

Tastes great. It comes from the ocean but it's great.

We've been bringing water on at least the last 10 Disney cruises we've taken.....we get a car though..... shop, then drop off car in Port Canaveral and take their shuttle over....we do the same with alcohol/gatorade.

Enjoy your cruise!

All water onboard the ship (from the beverage station, preparing food, making ice, from the tap in your room, served in the dining rooms) is processed the same as most bottled waters (reverse osmosis and filtered). We just bring our own personal water bottle and fill up in the room before starting out for the day.

Tastes awful and something about it makes DH and I swell like crazy. So we buy the spring water packages onboard (if we aren't staying concierge). We cannot be bothered to carry a case or two of water onboard.

And I assure those who are stretching their fingers to type that if it were the food then we would swell no matter what. We are still eating lol. But when we drink the ship water we swell (it's one of those lovely sensitivities we have in common), and when we drink spring water we don't.

We are not the majority, and I hope you do just fine and like the water.

And we don't know if it's that maybe "desalination" doesn't mean "UNsalination", or if the process takes out ALL electrolytes and our systems can't handle it, or something I haven't thought of. I just don't know the "why" of it.

I love the taste of the water onboard but I also swell terribly every time I cruise. Just figured it was the sodium in the food but not sure. I drink a ton of the ship water onboard. As soon as I am home the swelling in my ankles and feet go down.

Interesting --- great information..... I think I will just call & have some delivered to the room. It is so expensive, but by the time I get a taxi to a store & back to the hotel, it would be the same price.

Just ordered it.....
That has to be some good water..... 24 pack of water-- $35.00 plus tax & gratuity-- $42.67 total...........
Oh well, now I don't have to grab a taxi, go shopping, lug it on board........ And we will have plenty of water in our room for the morning, evening, & excursions.

Thanks again to everyone for all their replies !!! Greatly appreciated !!
