...I thought that might have caught Janice's eye LOL :D

We are staying at the Boardwalk (without a car) and would like to go to one of the Mall's shopping.? Is there a bus that goes from the TTC to the Mall?

Or would it be better that one of the day's we go to Seaworld (via Mears shuttle) we get the trolley from here?

Any idea's??

Thanks

Kaylee

Kaylee, I don't think there is any regular shuttle service to the shopping centres off property, but you have a couple of options. You can take the Disney bus to DD and then walk to the Crossroads Plaza from there (not terribly exciting, but a reasonable choice of shops). You can certainly get the Mears shuttle to SW, and then the Premium Outlets are only a 10-minute ride away on the I-Ride Trolley (and they stay open until 10pm, I think). Or you could just get a cab from the hotel to either the Outlets or Lake Buena Vista Factory Stores. My folks did that from the Swan last year and found it highly worthwhile (it cost about $15, I think).

We like the premium outlets far better than the LBV one. If you can only get to one it may be worth checking which stores are at them beforehand.
We could be there very soon as its the only place DH can get a good choice in size 12 shoes!

When we went to seaworld last time we also went to Beltz on the I drive. We then were picked up by Mears outside Seaworld at the end of our shopping day.

The I drive stops outside seaworld. I think it was 75C each?

We spent the day at Seaworld and then went shopping until late.

Beltz was recommended to us and we liked it.

I like the idea of spending the day at Seaworld and then going shopping, Thanks.

Take a look at the Lynx website. http:\\www.golynx.com

Lynx is Orlando's Public Transport system. I tried it out last visit. I works OK, is cheap, but inconvenient. You might have to change bus routes and getting over to TTC from Boardwalk to pick up the Lynx is troublsome, not to mention the the time wasted travelling in the wrong direction!

SimonV says that the shops at Crossroads offer a 'reasonable' choice. Unless things have changed since I last visited I think 'miserable' would be a more accurate description. Other than Goodings, I wouldn't rate Crossroads worth a visit.

Who knows, maybe you will be able to find someone to share taxi costs with, once you get to the BoardWalk.
