DD11 has just handed me a list of shops she would like to visit:
GAP
Old Navy
Justice
Forever 21
Tilly's
+ every major department store.

Does anyone have others to recommend?

Also looking for stores catering for tall women. There are a couple online, I've already placed a large Gap order, but I would also like to be able to try before I buy.

And the focus of this trip would be....?

hot topic seems to be a big hit for teens. my younger sister (early 20s) loved shopping there + gap + forever21 + any teen based shopping store we walked past.

i am in the plus size clothing range (hoping to be in 'regular sizes' by next trip so i mostly stuck to Old Navy and Macys and Torrid. Torrid caters for plus size, but also regular sizes in a tall range, most especially with jeans, so if you find a Torrid store, you might be interested in checking it out as well. the only Torrid i have shopped at was in the Florida Mall and they were amazingly helpful.

Hot Topic looks a bit old for DD and their kids range is too small. I haven't heard of Torrid so I'll have to check it out.

Thanks for the tips!

My daughter liked the Children's Place. We got some excellent specials there over the Christmas holidays (like heaps of items for less than $5, most of the dresses and pants were $2).

Edit to add - just got the web address and noticed a pop up saying they're shipping to Australia - spend over $100 and $19.95 flat rate postage.

Thanks. I'd forgotten about Children's Place. DS8 will also be happy as they have some great boys clothes too.

Zara
H&M
Anthropologie

You should be fine in most stores. Unlike here, they all offer tall, regular and petite fittings.
