"All you have"? Honestly: you can spend lots of moneys at the Disney Stores – I remember somebody writing in a forum to spend 1000s of Euros :scared:

And there's just everything you can buy. Really! Personally I'd recommend to just go there and let the shops themselves do their impressive job. Without browsing the shop photos first. Set yourself a limit; keep in mind that any stuffed characters cost from €10 to €200 with an average of €20-30 for useable sizes, Pins are around €6-15, shirts, sweaters and towels around €25, and if you start to get Princesses costumes, dinnerware, large figurines and Svarovski stuff, there's no upper limit (what was the crystal castle? €2400? I just swamped it out my mind *lol*).

Bring €150 to start discovering the shops (there are plenty either in the Village, the Park and the Studios) – or Dad's credit card to push Disney shopping to the max.

(and if you still want to get impressed in advance, »this could be a starting point :)

The crystal castle is way more expensive than that!
Once you start with WDCC, 100s of euros fly out of your pocket (but hey, I can watch my figurines all year long! :rolleyes1 )

Really, the sky is the limit.

Princess dress: at least 50 EUR
Tink 4 seasons frames: 40 EUR each
Mickey towel: 19 EUR
Little plush Mickeys: 9.90 each

"Debardeur": 35 Eur
That beautiful Mickey book: 150 Eur (English), 175 Eur (French)
LE 15th anniversary watch: 95 eur
Other LE watches: 90 eur
Animated Mickey lamp: 135 eur
Minnie Mouse pillow: 15 eur

Fab 5 glasses: 2 eur/ piece
Red umbrella: 19 eur

Bag of Mickey candy: 2,50 eur (yummy)

Can you tell I have just been shopping at DLP! :lmao:

Ooh, I like the sound of these Sandra.

They are both wonderful!

The book is HUGE, heavy and containes the most wonderful full-colour prints of Mickey. Thanks mom and dad for that as birthday gift :)

The watch is actually a men's watch... well, the size is a men's watch. The face of the watch is white with a gold-coloured castle and Tink, and it has the 15th anniversary on it too. Thanks grandparents for that as birthday gift :)

I like the sound even more! Looks like it may be time to write my Christmas list! ;)

Some prices:

Please, know that this is a collection in very fine china, that's why it is so expensive. It's on the same level as Villeroy & Boch, Guy Degrenne, Lenox, Bernardaud etc.

Only saw the book in French at DLP and therefore didn't give it much attention.
How would you rate it Sandra ?

On a scale from 1 to 10, I would give it a 15. Really.

These books (there is one about Snow White and one about Pinocchio) are considered THE reference books. They are magnificent. You have to see the pictures in order to realize how beautiful this book is.

I also didn't know there was an English version.
I went into Harrington's and they only had the "show" copy, which is completely torn apart, and there I saw it's in French and 175 EUR. Then I went to the Book Store (next to City Hall), and asked for it. The CM went into the back to go look for one, and told me he had only an English copy left. Which is even better than French, I prefer to read English (who am I fooling, I only watch the pictures!)

It was "only" 150 EUR. Later on I dicovered it's because the English one doesn't have the slip cover. I can live without that if it costs me 25 EUR more, that means one more souvenir!!!

This book can also be ordered through the regular book store, and I guess they have it on Amazon.com. I had seen it many years ago at Fnac for the first time, but because of the price hadn't bought it yet.

OP, sorry to high-jack your tread

These pictures don't do any justice to the book though.

It contains backgrounds with cells:

It contains fold-out pictures:

It contains the story board for Steamboat Willie:
