Hi
thinking about ordering a few things online and getting them delivered to POFQ when I visit in October, has anyone had any probs doing this ? I'm thinking about http://www.taylorshoes.com/ in particular and a few other websites, how long in advance should I order and, do they keep the items safe for you if they arrive before you do ? lol

We have had quite large deliveries to both POFQ and the Yacht Club. They will hold packages until you arrive if it is only for a couple of days. It is advisable that you make sure the company delivering the item have the reference number for your booking to put on the item's delivery label.

I'll let you know after 10 June as I have ordered from taylorshoes for delivery to my hotel. Taylor's asked me for date of arrival as they will put this on the parcel to let the hotel know and I also emailed the hotel to say I was expecting a parcel and from whom.

Anyone ordering items to hotels just check with hotel first that they dont charge for handling. We had very small package delivered to Fairfield inn at Easter. They charged $5 to recieve it plus they brought it to room so you feel obliged to give the lad a couple of $'s. I must have been in a good mood
So $7 can be a lot if value is not much for contents.
Fairfield is only one I have been charged at but I am sure others will.

Ah well I wrote a nice, complimentary email to the hotel to say how delighted we were to be returning again this year because we had so enjoyed our stay last year (hoping for an upgrade perhaps ) and received a lovely email back saying they remembered us I'm not sure why and they will be delighted to welcome us back and will be happy to hold the parcel for us

offsite, not sure about emails for the Disney resorts but I think you can fax?

I placed my order with Taylorshoes yesterday and got an email today to say it had been shipped so I'll let you know at the w/end if it arrived in time.
