We last went to Disney in November/ December 2004 and found some excellent shopping bargains. Since finding this forum, and the amount of information available, I do feel better prepared overall for our next holiday Dec 1st. I read recently that Belz is now being demolished. Unfortunately, some of the bargains we had were in Belz. I was wondering if there will be bargains to be had at this time of year in the lead up to Christmas and, if so, where? :confused3 :goodvibes

Only one of the two malls at Belz has been demolished so far so you can still go there, from what I've heard there's not a huge amount there though. Our favourite after Belz was the Orlando Premium Outlets, got some fantastic bargains there last year.

I love The Florida Mall. It isn't an outlet kinda place but there are definitely bargains to be had for us Brits with the dollar being fairly weak, loads of shops like Disney Store, Old Navy, Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Hot Topic, Torrid (my favourite), Sephora etc etc.

Premium Outlets are our favourite we have got some great deals there for Nike, Skechers, Adidas, Levi's, Polo Ralph Lauren and much much more :)

Claire ;)

Florida Mall is great - spent a small fortune at Abercrombie & Fitch, Hollister, Yankee Candles and the department stores

However haven't been to Mall of Millenia - has anyone been and what are your thoughts?

It's nice, clean, great food court but some of the shops are very expensive!

Overall the Florida Mall is the best for a good selection of stores to suit everyone.

Mall At Millenia is the nicest but as many of the stores there are upmarket it is more likely to be a window shopping experience than one where you would buy. The Tommy Bahama store is my favourite so we always have a couple of visits.

Premium Outlets is the best bet for bargains, especially sportswear with the likes of Adidas, Nike and Puma all having stores there.
However, as with all discount shopping it can be a bit hit & miss whether you find bargains as many of the stock will be out of season or wasn't sold originally at the bigger city stores.
We tend to go there for odd things, beach towels from the Polo store are good quality and very cheap, luggage is also very good value for money and if you do need that extra bag this is the place to buy from.

One good reason to go to The Mall at Millenia: The Cheesecake Factory! :cool1:
As far as shops I loved the Sanrio store, Betsey Johnson (more for window-shopping really, I did buy some socks though =) and I DID like Urban Outfitters but one the tees I bought got a hole in it after a day's wear so i'm not impressed with the quality of the stuff in there for what you pay. My mum liked Bloomingdales (it isn't all super pricey, they have some more M&S-like prices too and the quality is good) and a shop called Brighton Collectables that sold costume jewellery. Not much for my younger sister really but she did find a bookshop with manga so she was happy ;)
